Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his readiness to seek election to the National Assembly in 2027, promising to provide quality and effective representation for the people of the Adamawa North Senatorial District.
Governor Fintiri stated this on Monday, August 10, when he received members of the Sajoh Gyella for Fintiri and Tijjani Galadima Movement from Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha Local Government Areas.

The governor said his experience in governance has equipped him with the capacity to effectively represent the interests of the people of the senatorial district at the National Assembly.
He stressed that the people of Adamawa North deserve representation that is responsive, effective and capable of advancing their interests at the national level.
Fintiri also expressed appreciation to members of the movement for their support and confidence in his political journey, describing their backing as an indication of a shared commitment to the future of the district and Adamawa State.
The governor’s engagement with supporters from the three northern local government areas further highlights his growing political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, as political alignments continue to take shape across the state.
